Product Description 

RPLIDAR A1 is an affordable 2D laser scanning (LIDAR) system capable of full 360-degree scanning. It supports a maximum range of up to 12 meters (6 meters for models like the A1M8-R4), generating precise 2D point cloud data for applications such as mapping, localization, and environmental modeling. Utilizing laser triangulation technology, the RPLIDAR A1 delivers accurate distance measurements. It operates at a standard scanning frequency of 5.5 Hz with 1450 sample points per rotation, and can be configured to scan at up to 10 Hz. This versatile LIDAR is suitable for both indoor and shaded outdoor environments, provided it is not directly exposed to strong sunlight.
